In Ayurveda, there is no more sacred facial tool than the Kansa wand. The word "kansa" derives its name from Sanskrit (the native tongue of ancient India) and is the name of an alloy of copper and tin, also called "the bell metal" because Tibetans gongs and bells were often made from this material. Initially refreshing, it becomes more and more warming as it is in contact with the skin. The pressures and massages with a kansa wand provide relaxation, softening of the skin and better microcirculation. Your face appears more relaxed, as if lifted naturally.
♦︎ Increases collagen production
♦︎ Rebalances the PH of the skin
♦︎ Releases tension
♦︎ Reduce fine lines and relieve eye fatigue
In Ayurveda, there is no more sacred facial tool than the Kansa wand. The word "kansa" derives its name from Sanskrit (the native language of ancient India) and is the name of an alloy of copper and tin, also called "the metal of the bell" because Tibetan gongs and bells were often made from this material. And "wand" means wand. This Ayurvedic magic wand is not just cooling; it gradually becomes warming when it comes into contact with the skin.

How to use your Kansa:
Apply oil to your skin. Slide the kansa wand around your cheekbone. Under your cheekbone, massage from top to bottom starting from the ear to the corner of the mouth. Once the kansa wand is on your jaw, slide it from the ear to the chin from top to bottom. Massage your forehead in a circular motion from left to right and vice versa. Draw "eights" vertically on the forehead (five times) then horizontally. Firmly massage the jaw muscles (five times on each side).
Benefits of use:
In Ayurveda, the emphasis is on "marma" points, these correspond to acupressure points and are generally positioned on our lymph nodes. Massaging these points is therefore important in Ayurvedic medicine because it allows to release blocked or stagnant energy and the draining action of the massage allows the elimination of toxins by draining the lymph nodes. Releasing blocked or stagnant energy also helps to combat insomnia, fatigue and cramps. This massage tool is older than "gua sha" or jade roll-on type tools and has many uses, because it also helps to enhance the cheekbones and make the skin naturally radiant.
How to clean your Kansa: When using your Kansa wand for the first time, we recommend gently cleaning the metal part of your wand with a clean, chemical-free soap and then wiping it dry with a dry towel. Do this after each use to keep your wand clean for its next use.

The lymphatic system includes vessels where the lymph circulates, analogous to the veins. The main one is the thoracic duct, 40 cm long, from the abdomen to the neck and also includes organs that serve to produce lymphocytes and filter lymph. The advantage of regular use of the Kansa Wand is to be able to stimulate the lymph nodes through the practice of self-massage and thus eliminate the waste produced by the different cells but also germs, bacteria and damaged cells. .
The kansa is an alloy of copper and tin that was once used to purify water. Initially refreshing, it becomes more and more warming, as it is in contact with the skin. It is appreciated for its sound, aesthetic and therapeutic qualities.

Using the kansa wand may leave black marks on the skin.
This reaction is due to a chemical reaction between the metal in the kansa and the acidity of the skin. So we simply recommend cleaning your face with a mild cleanser after using kansa to remove these marks.
